Moving 416 Ton Transformers

Work on moving six, 416 ton (831,724 pounds), power transformers through Harford County to the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in Pennsylvania was begun at the end of July 2009. The transformers were manufactured in South Korea, and moved through Havre de Grace, Level, Churchville, Dublin, Whiteford and Cardiff on a 16.08 foot wide trailer. The Broad Creek and Deer Creek Bridges were over passed as shown below.
