We'd like to tell you about the premier museum of colonial life in early Harford County, Maryland.

Welcome! We will tell you how you may tour the House and Museum, how you may reserve the House for your special activity, our plans for the future, and invite you to participate in our many activities there.

If you would like to take a tour, the Hays House is open:

  • Every Sunday year-round, Hours: 1-4 pm, except from December 19 th 2005 until February 12 th 2006 for winter break
  • Many special events!
  • Open other times by appointment.
  • Admission: $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for students and seniors. Children under 4 years old and Historical Society of Harford County members are free. Special event admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students and seniors.
